I Love Dinner Cookbook: Easy Dinner Recipes That Will Make You Love Dinner Again
Simple and easy to use the cookbook with some delicious recipes inside. I loved how the recipes were divided up into beef, pork, poultry, seafood, vegetarian and on the side. Each recipe has a “Why You’ll Love It”, for example, the Red Wine Pot Roast states: “Red wine pot roast looks like the cover of a fancy food magazine, but in truth, it’s ridiculously simple to make. Pot roast works well as a weekend meal when you have time to let it cook low and slow.” All Meals also come with prep time, cook time, total time and yields. There are also “Know your Ingredients” sprinkled throughout the book, one talks about the difference between fresh mozzarella and low moisture mozzarella, another bison and an extensive one about rice and the different kinds. I made several of the meals and they all turned out very well.
I like the organization of this book and the print and background make it easy on the eyes. Each recipe gives prep and cook time, easy to follow directions and some tips on certain ingredients. There is no calorie count if you need that information, nor are there pictures which, surprisingly, I did not miss. Aside from the main dishes, there is a page on how to roast vegetables, a page dedicated to making many combinations of baked potatoes and a page of different salads and how to construct them. I received a free copy of this book and am willingly leaving my review.
